Deuteronomy 29:29
King James Version
29 The secret things belong unto the Lord our God:
but those things which are revealed
belong unto us and to our children for ever,
that we may do all the words of this law.
We will struggle a lot in life, unless we're born again.
We may be plenty angry, too.
We may turn resentful, and rebellious.
For we will be puzzled at how life seems hard.
At the seeming lack of justice.
At how GOD can allow certain things.
Such as pain, death, sorrow, suffering, chaos.
We won't be able to plumb such depths.
Unless we are born again.
Which is another mystery, too.
John 3:3-8
King James Version
3 Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him,
How can a man be born when he is old?
can he enter the second time
into his mother's womb,
and be born?
5 Jesus answered,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,
Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,
and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh,
and whither it goeth:
so is every one that is born
of the Spirit.
When you're born again, GOD teaches you His laws.
Through His Son, JESUS.
Through His Spirit, the HOLY SPIRIT.
Through His Word, Scripture.
Then all will become clear.
The struggle will end.
Resentments will end.
Confusion will end.
Anger will end.
PEACE will prevail.
And you will begin to understand what JESUS meant.
When He said:
Matthew 16:24
King James Version
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples,
If any man will come after me,
let him deny himself,
and take up his cross,
and follow me.
Hardships have a purpose.
GOD's ways are NOT our ways.
His thoughts are NOT our thoughts.
GOD said that Himself, through Isaiah:
Isaiah 55:8-9
King James Version
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,
saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Now, you will be able to understand the verses.
Which are to follow.
In the context they were given.
All for GOD's perfect purposes:
GOD gave us His ONLY begotten SON.
John 3:16-17
King James Version
16 For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world
to condemn the world;
but that the world through him
might be saved.
PURPOSE: That the world "might be saved", through JESUS.
Only through GOD's perfect mind, can He do such a thing.
He made His SON to be sin, for us.
2 Corinthians 5:21
King James Version
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us,
who knew no sin;
that we might be made
the righteousness of God
in him.
PURPOSE: That we "might be made the righteousness of God".
JESUS taught us holiness, righteousness, and perfection.
Joseph suffered, through his brothers, for GOD's perfect plan.
Genesis 50:20
King James Version
20 But as for you,
ye thought evil against me;
but God meant it unto good,
to bring to pass,
as it is this day,
to save much people alive.
PURPOSE: To "save much people alive".
This, during the days of famine, as prophesied.
There is no judging another, for GOD has a perfect purpose.
John 9:1-3
King James Version
9 And as Jesus passed by,
he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him,
saying,
Master, who did sin,
this man, or his parents,
that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered,
Neither hath this man sinned,
nor his parents:
but that the works of God
should be made manifest in him.
PURPOSE: That the "works of God should be made manifest".
GOD has a gift for all mankind, even through physical suffering.
GOD answers a prayer, through His terms.
1 John 5:14
King James Version
14 And this is the confidence that we have in him,
that, if we ask any thing according to his will,
he heareth us:
PURPOSE: Our prayers get answered "according to his will".
JESUS taught us -- it's ALWAYS been about knowing GOD's WILL.
Being born again is the only way we can begin to understand GOD.
And not swear at Him, when we fail to receive blessings.
Or our prayers don't seem to get answered.
Or GOD "seems" not to hear our cry.
Or an answer seems "late".
Or we don't receive what we asked for.
When you are born again, you get to know GOD's ways.
And His way is "perfect".
Scripture testifies of it:
Psalm 18:30
King James Version
30 As for God,
his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those
that trust in him.
Trusting GOD means --
The struggle will cease.
We then lose our tantrums.
And look to GOD in awe.
Romans 11:33
King James Version
33 O the depth of the riches both
of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
how unsearchable are his judgments,
and his ways past finding out!
