The LORD JESUS said:
Matthew 11:29
King James Version
29 Take my yoke upon you,
and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart:
and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
How beautiful it is to be guided by the SPIRIT of GOD!
He makes you see, what you can't, on your own.
Such as responsibility for others.
Of how all our lives are linked.
And of how vital it is we be guided by the SPIRIT of GOD.
Realizing we all have a hand in how the world turned out to be.
That we are all responsible for each other's lives.
Whether we're dads, moms, siblings, grandparents, husbands, wives, children, uncles, aunts, friends, colleagues, superiors.
Do pain, wars, and misfortune happen in a vacuum?
SPIRIT told me otherwise.
This is what He made me see today:
When we allow,
we participate in it.
When we are indifferent,
we are still part of it.
When we don't caution people,
we are responsible for what happens to them.
Why, then should we blame others solely?
We, too, are part of it.
We can't be like Pilate, who washed his hands off the whole thing.
And not taking responsibility for the life of JESUS.
Even as it had been prophesied the LORD would die on the CROSS.
Sure, nothing could have stopped that.
Scripture -- the WORD of GOD -- is ALWAYS fulfilled.
And yet, a singular effort to stop the proceedings, with no thought of self, or status, could have revealed the chance for LIGHT in Pilate's heart.
His wife did have a dream, but he ignored it.
Let us not be that way.
LOOK what GOD searches for:
Psalm 14:2
King James Version
2 The Lord looked down from heaven
upon the children of men,
to see if there were any that did understand,
and seek God.
We cannot change the destiny of people.
Only GOD has the power over our lives.
According to His WILL and WAYS.
But we sure can reveal GOD's LIGHT from our hearts.
We can reveal the PRESENCE of CHRIST in our hearts.
By our works we shall be judged.
Psalm 62:12
King James Version
12 Also unto thee,
O Lord,
belongeth mercy:
for thou renderest to every man
according to his work.
Next time we criticize others for their failings, we must look at our own failings first.
Where have we failed Christ?
Where have we failed others?
Where have we failed ourselves?
Romans 3:23
King James Version
23 For all have sinned,
and come short of the glory of God;
JESUS very aptly reminds us:
Matthew 7:3
King James Version
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye,
but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Let's pray to be awakened by CHRIST, that we may SEE as HE SEES.
Better yet, be born again in CHRIST, that SPIRIT may show you many wonderful things!
And make everything clear, and simple, Scripture-wise.
GOD's TRUTH keeps us humble.
Only then can we be teachable, and effective.
Only then can we be a blessing to others.
Without TRUE humility, we are not CHRIST's.
